On Spain’s north-west coast in the region of Galicia lies the port city of A Coruña, also known as La Coruña.

A Coruña Airport, formerly known as Alvedro Airport, is the airport serving the Galician city of A Coruña.

A Coruña has its own airport that is one of several airports in Galicia. The other are airports in Galicia are Santiago de Compostela Airport and Vigo Airport.

The historical and unique city of A Coruña is seven kilometres away from the airport and makes a great stopover for visitors who wish to explore the local Galician culture and its history.

A Coruña airport is a very small airport that consists of a small two-level airport. It includes a convenience store and a couple of restaurants on the ground floor, a café on the first floor, and a duty free shop on the boarding floor.
