Satay Cocktail Bar

Satay Bar is a cocktail bar serving refreshing cocktails. They are based in Brixton, just by the Ritzy cinema.

I visited the Satay Bar on a few occasions, including for cocktail drinks with family and friends to celebrate my 21st birthday last year. Satay Bar make really nice cocktails and the vibe is chilled and really good. I had a fantastic time there.

My favourite cocktail from the range that I tried was Mojito, which had in it white rum, fresh lime, mint leaf and brown sugar as well as crushed ice. Was totally amazing, refreshing and tasted soo nice… Another one that comes to mind was the Virgin Daiquiri cocktail, and it had strawberries, lemon and lime juices, and sugar, blended with ice. To think of it, the Virgin Daiquiri tasted even better than the Mojito; it was nice…

The types of music they played on my visit are house, funk, neon soul and on occasions rnb. The Satay Cocktail Bar is good for a chilled out weekday evening, or a weekend night - an ideal venue for a nice little causal drink with friends.

Overall, the bar is a great venue for those who enjoy cocktail drinks, want a quick drink over a friendly catch up. It’s also a good venue for flirting, socialising with friends as well as meeting new people.
