Old Peculier - the liquid Aston Martin

Another of Britain’s most wonderful and popular beers, made with the traditional Fuggles hops, maybe that is where the phrase Muggle was thought up too many Fuggles make a Muggle. Anyway back to the beer, Old Peculier is lovely rich, warm and fruity dark ale worthy of taking your time over to savour. Its smooth and sits nicely on your palate and there is no desire to wolf down this fine 5.6% beverage in the manner of a boozing football fan putting away second rate.

Any serious beer aficionado will enjoy this fine ale, which is easily found all over England, and indeed the world.

If this beer was a car it would be an Aston Martin, smooth, stylish, classical, powerful and enjoyed by those of exclusive taste. Enjoy it on it’s own or with a rich roast beef Sunday lunch.

Old Peculier beer rating:

10 = replace my blood with this glorious liquid.

(1 = Erggh! Dish Water and 10 = Replace my blood with this glorious liquid).
