Fashion is what it is, forever trying to acquire the art of feeling good and comfortable and looking expensive all at the same time. Although the goals of fashion have changed over the years, we are forever congratulating those who can impress us, as consumers, by adding something audacious, fresh to the fashion world, showing that they are not afraid to try looking at fashion from a different angle.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is exactly what Ms. Jousianne Propp, Graduate Fashion Week Award Winner (one of the joint winners of the Visionary Knitwear award), has done. A student of Manchester School of Art, she has excelled at exercising her individual flare which has lead to her taking the fashion world by storm. Something rather appealing about the work of Jousianne comes from the inspirations she uses to design her clothes and it is really expressed through her clothes. Often fashion designers use different body types to elaborate on previous fashion designs. Propp used inspirations which derive from materialistic factors such as architecture, art and science.

Jousianne Propp’s clothes are really one of a kind, they concentrate on accentuating the outer body, and she has done this well, many of her pieces concentrate on layers which are then added to the clothes, giving the garments more of an artistic and architectural feel to her designs.
Her outlook on cutting and design really does come across as sculptural which is defiantly an outbreak of new ideas for the fashion world. Jousianne’s thorough skills of precise cuts are something definitely to look out for.
And that is all I can say without spoiling it. Simple. But believe this, there is far much more to it.
