Ji Cheng AW13 Collection 'Koi's Whisper'
Established Chinese designer Ji Cheng presented her A/W 2013 collection blending Eastern inspiration with avant-garde tailoring. Collection features multi-layers and intricate handcrafted techniques, textural detailing and variable colours. Natural materials are combined with traditional hand weaving highlighting the glory of the female form.
Ji Cheng's AW13 collection entitled 'Koi's Whisper' was inspired by the colourful koi carp of classic Asian folk tales, whose graceful movements resonates ancient Chinese decoration, signifying beauty and elegance.
