Fashion Designer and Graduate Terrie Leigh Finnegan Presents Collection at GFW 2012

Terrie Leigh Finnegan from the University of East London (UEL) presented a collection of distorted tailoring combined with heavy layering at Graduate Fashion Week (GFW) 2012.

UEL graduate Terrie Leigh Finnegan created powerful and masculine silhouettes using strong and protective fabrics made from natural materials.

The womenswear collection is entitled 'Liberte ou la Morte' and the collection was influenced by the Caribbean island of Haiti and the uprising of African and Creole slaves in the late 1790s, which led to the infamous Haitian revolution.
