Ayia Napa Monastery

The Ayia Napa Monastery, as the name suggests, is located in Ayia Napa and is one of many monasteries in Cyprus. The monastery was built somewhere around 1500 AD at the time when Cyprus was conquered by the Venetians. The monastery was built in the style of a medieval castle in stand right in the middle of a village.

Ayios Sozomenos is an abandoned village with various remains of buildings. The village is located just outside Nicosia near Dali very close to the Green Line. One of the most striking architectural remains in the village are the ruins of the gothic 15th century Agios Mamas Church.

Nissi beach is a gorgeous white sand beach stretch of about 500 metres in Ayia Napa, and is one of the nicer beaches in Europe. Great for sun tanning, water sports, honeymoons and relaxation.

The Tombs of the Kings is a large necropolis about two kilometres north of Paphos harbour in Cyprus. The Tombs of the Kings form part of the Archaeological Park of Kato Pafos and is one of the most important archaeological sites in Cyprus.

Paphos Archaeological Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and there is a lot to see from Greek and Roman antiquity. The ruin highlights include the temple and many columns, an amphitheatre, intricate mosaics, bath house remains and other structures left behind by the ancients, all on a mountain top offering great scenic views.
