Most of us dabble in some form of crafts to satisfy our inner ever-evolving hobbyist, and this year the popular and self-inviting craft appears to be jewellery design. There currently is a lot of talk on the block about making your own jewellery and enthusiasts, self-proclaimed designers as well as serial artisans are eagerly exploring various and innovative DIY possibilities.
For the planet loving Earthlings the best form of inspiration often comes from sustainability and recycling. I will therefore share with you some of the most amazing works that people have created from recycled materials; on this occasion the material being waste bottles.
While making jewellery out of bottles may seem a little out of the ordinary, it most certainly can be inspiring and especially in consideration of the obvious benefits, including your contribution to saving the planet and reduced material costs. Much alike designing and working with any material, a good eye, some talent and some skill can take you a long way.
